Twitter has suddenly blown up as a blogging tool for me. No longer do I see it as somewhere to only write ‘new blog!!!1!!1!!’, instead I’ve followed loads of fellow Glasgow/Scotland food bloggers which has opened up a whole new world of reviewing possibility.
So at 5pm on only my second day of my new big girl job, I was on my way to a champagne reception with my handsome man and I was positively giddy. Who else can say their first blogging event was at the Hilton?! I do think it’s difficult to review a tasting event however, because the importance of good service is a main feature of my review style but I’ll do my best to give you a feel for the night as well as reviewing the actual food.
I have to apologise for my serious lack of reviewing recently. I’ve just started my new job and it’s taken me a while to get settled in to a routine. Even when I’ve found myself home with free time I’ve just had no desire to write. It’s awful to read something that you can tell is forced and I never want to produce crap work.
But on this dreich Saturday I’m all settled in bed and ready to relive the amazing Hilton Morblas tasting night and the truly delicious meal I had with my Mum and Nanny at No16.
Normal blogging shall resume with immediate effect!

leahmcc asked: Hey there. Just wondering if you know anywhere good for Breakfast in Stirling??
I do! I am a huge fan of Victoria’s on King Street. Imagine granny cafe meets awesome American diner. French toast and bacon is cracking and it’s super cheap. I’ve spent many a very hungover morning in there. Hope you enjoy!
Definitely joining the gym…
Well that is exciting!
